Last year's inaugural FIRST LOOK was a resounding success as everyone will see in the next issue of The Hosta Journal. Tri-State Hosta Society's reputation as the most active local society in the AHS will continue to rise as we once again host this year's Eastern Regional meeting. FIRST LOOK 2 promises to be even bigger and better! New this year will be tours of Frank and Helen Donn's beautiful Watnong garden and our own President and First Lady's World Class Hosta Garden. Back once again will be the best-known hybridizers from all over the country to compete in the world's top Seedling and Sport Competition, vendors with this year's newest plants and wares, our very popular Hosta Town Meeting, the exciting Rare Plant Auction and bigger contests with better prizes.

The 2002 date is July 6 at the Sheraton Parsippany Hotel. This year's $95 full meeting package includes All Day Activities, Buffet Luncheon, Gala Awards Banquet and Sunday Open Garden Tours. Overnight room rates at this upscale hotel will be only $89 for FIRST LOOK 2 attendees.
