In 1983, he said, “I Do” and she said, “I Do” and that got them started as Mr. and Mrs. In 1993 they did, join the Tri-State Hosta Society that is, and thus began one long “labor of love.” The Weissman’s "Maison du Hosta" is a suburban garden that is described by their owners as an “Americanized Japanese Stroll Garden” with hostas as the focal point. They have over 200 plants, trees, and shrubs surrounding a koi pond and serenity garden; all in complement to almost 400 hostas cultivars.
