In 1983, he said, “I Do” and she said, “I Do” and that got them started as Mr. and Mrs. In 1993 they did, join the Tri-State Hosta Society that is, and thus began one long “labor of love.” The Weissman’s "Maison du Hosta" is a suburban garden that is described by their owners as an “Americanized Japanese Stroll Garden” with hostas as the focal point. They have over 200 plants, trees, and shrubs surrounding a koi pond and serenity garden; all in complement to almost 400 hostas cultivars. While there, note the tributes to the famous architect, artist, and the compost “farm.”

From either direction: Turn Right at the 3rd street, Cooper Avenue. Cooper Avenue dead ends at Runyon Avenue in front of 125. Jog Left and then Right. Park on both sides of Bay Street .
