Tri-State Hosta Society's June garden tour will be hosted by Helen Donn at her Watnong Gardens. If you haven't been to this wonderful New Jersey garden, you have been missing a great opportunity to see an outstanding collection of conifers, trees, shade plants, redwoods, and yes hosta. A wonderful container garden to the rear of the property is nested within a hand-crafted wooden train created by the owner's late husband and long-time TSHS member, Frank Donn. This garden is a tribute to all of the couple's hard work over the years and the love of gardening that they shared.

Bring your own lunch and relax in the shade of this beautiful garden.

From I-287 North or South: Take Exit 39/Route 10 West, towards Dover. Go to the 3rd. traffic light which is Powdermill Road, take the "jug handle turn" and head East on Route 10. After passing Mountain Club Garden Homes, go SLOW. Watnong Terrace angles off to the right and parallels Route 10 like a service road. Park on either Watnong Terrace or the side road.

From I-80 West: take Exit 43 to I-287 South, go to Exit 39 West and follow above.
